Sesame Street has Rosita (a green Mexican American resident of Sesame Street) on here talking about how all books she has to read about Mexican people are exactly the same. She’s like “they are always taking a rest by a cactus with a donkey and a sombrero” (she said it in Spanish!!!) and that they’re stereotyping Mexican people and not reflective of their real experiences. She said “there’s so much more to being Mexican!” and now she’s about to write her own story “Me Amigita Rosita”!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And they have an Afro-Latino guy talking to her about it and helping her! Sesame Street is so fucking good!!!!!!!!
